Condition Descriptions
In our collection, you’ll find delicate, individually crafted antique and collectible items with a rich history of prior ownership and use. We take pride in providing detailed and exacting condition reports, drawing on decades of experience handling similar items. Our descriptions are crafted with a critical eye, aiming to detect and disclose any significant age-related soiling, damage, or restoration.
Important Note: Minor wear, blemishes consistent with manufacturing techniques, or evidence of age, such as fine, clean crazing, are not considered damage and do not significantly detract from the item’s value. For more details, please refer to Clause 2 in our Terms of Service.
Returns and Refunds
We understand that discrepancies may arise, and our Return and Refund policies are designed to address such situations. If an item is not as described, you may return it for a full refund of the purchase price and shipping, provided you notify us within 7 days of receiving the item. To initiate this process, please contact us via email or phone.
Significantly Not as Described: Refunds are applicable in cases where there is a failure on our part to detect or disclose significant soiling, damage, or restoration.
Age-Related Wear: Please note that minor and insignificant wear, blemishes consistent with manufacturing techniques, or evidence of age like fine, clean crazing are not valid reasons for returning an item.
Buyers Remorse
Due to the delicate nature of our items and the logistical challenges involved, we do not offer refunds for change of mind or buyers remorse. If, upon receiving your purchase, you discover that you already have a similar item in your collection, we offer the option to exchange your purchase for another item in our inventory. In the absence of suitable exchange items, we extend a store credit. Return shipping for exchanges and store credit is the buyer’s responsibility. Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item if you intend to exchange or receive store credit.
Returning Your Item to Us
For returns, it is crucial that items are securely packed and returned to us in the same high-quality manner in which they were dispatched to you. This ensures the safe transit of delicate items.
Duties and Taxes on Export Sales
Please note that we do not refund taxes and duties if the item has been exported and a return is requested.
